Hank Helser
Henry William (Hank) Helser was born on March 24, 1909, in Portland, the son of Heinrich H. Helser and Katharina Helser, born in Norka, Russia. Hank is the brother of Roy Helser and Morrie Helser, who were standout athletes.
Hank was an all-star softball player who played for Rotary Bread in Portland. The Rotary Bread team, which included his two brothers, won the 1935 Oregon State Championship.
Hank also played on a local team named the "Flying Dutchman" with his three brothers: Walt, Roy, and Morrie.
Hank Helser died on November 28, 1983.
