St. Pauls Evangelical and Reformed Church Confirmation Classes
Confirmation was a rite of initiation in the Volga German Protestant churches and tended to be seen as a mature statement of faith by an already baptized person. Confirmation was typically required to become a church member, and the public ceremony was usually held as part of the Palm Sunday service each year.
Sadly, the St. Pauls Evangelical and Reformed Church records were discarded after the church was closed in 1973. We are attempting to rebuild the church's history from documents held in individual collections. Please share any information about births, baptisms, confirmations, marriages, and deaths of people who were part of this congregation.
