Johannes and Louisa Sinner
Johannes L. Sinner was born in Norka, Russia, on June 23, 1870 (or June 29, 1970), the son of Johann Heinrich Sinner (1837) and Anna Margaretha Weitzel (1837). The Sinner family immigrated to the United States, arriving on July 8, 1876, aboard the steamship Oder, which sailed from Bremen, Germany. The family settled in Nebraska.
Johannes married Louisa Krieger on February 2, 1888, in Sutton, Nebraska. Louise is the daughter of Johannes Krieger and Magdalena Schwindt. She was born on August 25, 1870, in Norka.
Around 1890, Johannes (John) and Louisa (Louise) arrived in Portland, where his parents and siblings were already living. They had two children: Alice and Henry Peter (born June 18, 1892 - died January 27, 1956).
Louise died on July 29, 1926, in Fresno, California. She was buried at Rose City Cemetery.
John remarried to Julia Anna Heinze.
John died on January 3, 1952, and was buried at the Rose City Cemetery.
