Rev. George J. Schmidt
Rev. G. J. Schmidt served the Zion German Congregational Church from 1938-1940. He followed the pastorship of Rev. Otto Tiede.
According to an article about his death in the Omaha World Herald on December 16, 1951, Rev. Schmidt served other churches in Colorado and Nebraska. His first Church was at Alliance, Nebraska and his last church was the Zion Congregational Church in Lincoln where he served for 23 years before retiring in the summer of 1951.
Rev. Schmidt was born in Russia and died on December 15, 1951 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Rev. Schmidt was followed by Rev. Paul Kalmbach in 1940.
