Second German Congregational Athletics
An opportunity for youth within the church was participation in sports. Several softball and basketball teams won city championship trophies. The talented softball teams of the 1970s and 1980s were very successful and participated in the National Tournament held in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1983 and 1984.
