John Huck Tailor Shop
John Huck owned a tailor shop on the southeast corner of Union (Now MLK Blvd.) and Shaver, next to the Wooden Shoe Tavern.
John was born in Saratov, Russia, on January 5, 1887. John and his wife Anna Maria sailed from Liverpool, England, arrived in Philadelphia on June 18, 1910, and first settled in Nebraska. He filed a Declaration of Intention to become a U.S. citizen on April 23, 1925.
John died on February 28, 1975, and was buried at the Rose City Cemetery.
