Heinrich Schwartz was born on Jun 22, 1874 in Norka, Russia, the son of Johannes Schwartz (born 1829) and Catharina Albrecht, born 1831).
Heinrich married Elisabeth Spady in Norka on January 30, 1893. Elisabeth was the daughter of Johannes Spady (born 1839) and Magdalena Sauer (born 1844).
Two children were born in Norka:
Elisabeth was born on March 16, 1894, and died in 1897.
Conrad Heinrich was born on June 23, 1897.
Heinrich, Elisabeth, and Conrad Heinrich immigrated to the United States about 1899 and soon settled in Portland. Five children were born in Portland:

Edward Chester, August 1, 1901
Raymond Edward, August 16, 1913
Henry and Elisabeth were founding members of Zion German Congregational Church, which was established in 1914. Henry was the first chairman of the church's board of directors. Henry's brother, Johannes (born December 7, 1857), was also a church member.
Elisabeth died in Portland on March 15, 1946
Henry died on November 15, 1962.
