Gloria Krieger
Gloria L. Krieger was born in Portland on November 4, 1933, the daughter of John Millard Krieger and Levina Lund. John's parents migrated to the United States from Norka, Russia, in 1887 and were early Volga German pioneers in Portland.
Gloria was selected as the Rose Festival Queen of Rosaria in 1951. She attended Jefferson High School.
On June 10, 1954, she and Adelle August, both 20 years of age, received approval for their respective contracts with Columbia Pictures. Gloria appeared regularly on the Phil Silvers show on Broadway.
