Gloria Krieger
Gloria L. Krieger was born in Portland on November 4, 1933, the daughter of John Millard Krieger and Levina Lund. John's parents, Johannes and Elisabeth Krieger, migrated to the United States in 1887 from Norka, Russia, and were early Volga German pioneers in Portland.
Gloria was selected as the Rose Festival Queen of Rosaria in 1951, representing Jefferson High School.
On June 10, 1954, she and Adelle August, both 20 years of age, received approval for their respective contracts with Columbia Pictures. Gloria appeared regularly on the Phil Silvers show on Broadway.
