Airport Tavern
The Airport Tavern was owned by John Schmeer from the mid-1930s to the mid-1940s. The tavern was located at 4701 NE Columbia Blvd. According to Melvin Cook, the establishment was owned by well-known professional wrestler Kurt von Poppenheim for several years.
