Warren Spady
Warren Spady was born in Portland in 1936. He is the son of George Jack Spady (1906-1993) and Magdalena Glanz (1908-1969). All four of his grandparents were born in Norka, Russia.
In the fall of 1959, Warren was an undergraduate art student at the University of Oregon. He designed and sculpted the Platypus Trophy, which is awarded to the winner of the University of Oregon vs. Oregon State University Rivalry Football Game (formerly known as the Civil War Game).
